HPS Low Voltage Switchgears

In order to fulfill customer requirements and demands, different systems are used in the area of low voltage switchgears.
With a rated current of up to 5000 A, the switchgears must be type-tested acc. to IEC 61439. Our products are planned, manufactured and tested according to the manufacturer's specifications of the following system providers:
- Rittal VX Ri4Power
- SEDOTEC Vamocon
- EATON xEnergy
The system providers offer a comparable portfolio with small differences (dimensions, make, design). When preparing the offer, the different systems are checked in terms of customer requirements, local conditions and commercial conditions, and offered accordingly.
Rittal VX Ri4Power
In the Rittal VX Ri4Power sample application, with two incoming and two outgoing breaker with a rated current of 1600 A each. The busbar has a nominal current of 3200 A and a rated short-time withstand current (Icw) of 50 kA.

SEDOTEC Vamocon
In the SEDOTEC Vamocon sample application, the low voltage switchgear is supplied with a 4000 A incomer breaker. The consumers are supplied via the 8 outgoing breaker. The busbar has a nominal current of 4000 A and a rated short-time withstand current (Icw) of 50 kA. In order to ensure balanced power distribution, the incomer breaker was planned between the consumers. 3-pole Schneider circuit breakers were used in this sample application.

EATON xEnergy
In the EATON xEnergy sample application, the low voltage switchgear is supplied with a 3200 A incomer breaker from the emergency power genset. The consumers are supplied by a 3200 A outgoing breaker via a separate low voltage switchgear. The auxiliary drives of the emergency power genset are controlled via the Motor Control Center (MCC). The busbar has a nominal current of 3200 A and a rated short-time withstand current (Icw) of 80 kA. The low voltage switchgear was planned, manufactured and tested in form 4b and full draw-out technology.
