Short Overview

Customer’s requirements defined an ATS system with a 4000A grid incomer, a 4000A generator incomer and 4 outgoing feeder between 800A and 1600A. Control and monitoring is done with our KAS control.

Advantages of Engineering with Rittal Power Engineering and EPLAN Pro Panel

In order to supply the customer with a switchgear custom-made for his requirements, we chose the Rittal System and used Rittal power engineering. In connection with EPLAN Pro Panel we first created a digital twin. The customer thus had the opportunity to see the finished switchboard in 3D in advance.

During construction we get detailed parts lists, in order to simplify material procurement and exact ordering of the required parts. The 3D view also helps the workshop employees to manufacture the system accordingly.

With the EPLAN Copper module all copper busbars to be manufactured are precisely planned in advance. The assembly of the switchgear is therefore very efficient, cutting losses are low and copper waste is minimized.

Even more complex applications can first be visualized using a digital twin. Already during offering stage it is possible to compare the different solutions technically and commercially.
