New Project for the Jeddah Islamic Port

Emergency Power Supply from Norderstedt for the Middle East

Hanseatic Power Solutions (HPS) already worked on several interesting projects in Saudi-Arabia. The emergency power supply of the great mosque in Mekka or the new Metro in Riad are only two examples. Now there is the next great order: HPS is proud to announce, that the operators of 'Jeddah Islamic Port' at the Red Sea ordered a large emergency power system for the extension of the port after having already cooperated with HPS in emergency power supply earlier on.

Norderstedt, 01-23-2020. There is an important supply visitor for the new order. EATONs management director Stefan Rohrmoser especially took the trip from Bonn in order to discuss the project. The technical details are impressive: There are six generators to be controlled – diesel engines for the emergency power supply for port operation. Two feed-ins are planned. In the event of line drop six gen sets will take over the supply. The plant is yet planned to feed six generators, but is designed to be extended to control up to eight gen sets.

Check the overview of the planned technical details of the emergency power supply system:
