The individual macro templates, such as our function =864 the „Table cooler fan“ (blog article macro templates), can have different variants and also properties.
Our EPLAN database includes more than 150 functions with well over 2000 variants and properties. In order to ensure quick and proper handling, we took the decision for EPLAN Cogineer.
With the EPLAN Cogineer Designer, we have optimally adapted the questions to our project planning processes so that our project manager (not an EPLAN key user) can use the EPLAN Cogineer Builder to compile and generate the function diagrams himself in about 30 minutes.
In the following video we will show you how to generate a function into an empty project.

Modifications may become necessary from the first planning (creation of circuit diagram) to execution (approval and production) We can implement these modifications quickly and easily with the EPLAN Cogineer Builder. We simply select the function to be modified and define different properties. The system automatically detects that this function already exists and replaces the existing pages.

Questions that are not functionally relevant will be hidden automatically („Internal Generator voltage from CU bar?“)
