Tank Control by CompactLogix
During the past year we equipped 31 tank controls with CompactLogix 5370 controllers of the series 1769 by Allen-Bradley by Rockwell Automation. Due to our experience with different plc software tools it was easy for us to meet also this customer demand.

The compact design of the series 1769 with its 16 integrated digital in- and outputs and the extensibility with additional in-/output modules makes this controller first choice for this requirement profile. Beside it was important, that it features the same programming software, the same network protocol and the same information functions as all Logix controllers. By that a common development environment for all controller disciplines is given. Consistent tools and functions lower the engineering investments and simplify diagnosis and bug-fix. This integrated solution with Logix controllers also simplifies the supply of spare parts.
In order to also guarantee integration with the operational devices, we implemented PanelView Plus 7 display terminals. These can be connected easily to the CompactLogix 5370 controllers via ethernet.
